BOSQUE BOULEVARD EXCURSION

Waco is famous for the Magnolia Market at the Silos in Downtown Waco, but there’s much more to shopping in Waco. When looking for things to do in Waco, there is so much to offer in addition to the shopping downtown Waco. The Little Shop on Bosque, which is the original home of Magnolia Market of Chip and Joanna Gaines, is just one of the many places outside of downtown Waco. If you have lots of time, you can start with a gorgeous view by going over the twin bridges of Lake Waco and even going to one of the RV parks in Waco like Speegleville Park and Campground or Woodway Park and Campground.

Consignment Furniture Store is one of the largest furniture consignment stores in Texas with thousands of pieces in every price range. Their inventory changes every day and they have more than most furniture stores. They offer high-end furniture,  items for repurposing and everything in between. Consignment Furniture also has vintage furniture, antique furniture and even offer new mattress. So one of the largest furniture stores Waco Tx as a next door neighbor for the Craft Gallery is a plus to both.

The Waco Flower Tent is in the parking lot of Bosque Square Shopping Center, which is home to the Craft Gallery and Consignment Furniture. This tent sets up in the spring and fall and offers a large selection of fresh plants and flowers. They are known for their large selection of hanging plants. So when you are shopping at the Craft Gallery and are looking for shopping near me, then walk across the parking lot!

Wild Bird’s Unlimited offers a very specialized selection of backyard bird feeding items and nature products. Items include bird food, bird baths, bird houses and more. This is one of the Waco stores that you have to be looking for to find.

For lunch or dinner, you can’t go wrong with Moroso Wood Fired Pizzeria. Don’t be fooled by the name, this is a nice restaurant that offers great Italian food in addition to their fantastic gourmet wood fired pizzas. You can’t eat here just once, because you have to try it all.

The Little Shop on Bosque is home to the first store of Magnolia’s TV show, Fixer Upper. This place is very small but has to be part of your day. It is the beginning history of the Fixer Upper show, Magnolia Market and Chip and Joanna Gaines. There are vases and florals, apparel and gifts, along with some discontinued items. From here the Gaines grew into the Magnolia Silos, Silo Bakery, Magnolia Table restaurant and several Magnolia bed and breakfast locations.They offer some of the magnolia home decor that you are looking for.

UPDATE: The Little Shop on Bosque has shutdown for now. They have opened it up at different times. It is worth going by and seeing where Chip and Joanna Gaines started their retail empire!

Harp Design Company was created by Clint and Kelly Harp in 2011. Clint became well known for his many appearances on the TV show Fixer Upper where he and Joanna Gaines were always cutting up. He went on to host his own show. Clint is a woodworking artist that does incredible work. A considerable amount of the TV shows magnolia home decor came from this shop. This is one of those hidden stores in Waco that offer home decor.

UPDATE: Clint shut this business down and sold his house and Harp Design building. Clint Harp started a new endeavor of creating his own television show. This is still a must stop when in Waco.
