What makes Craft Gallery so unique and ever changing is all our vendors creating their own stores with the original items they have found or created. Below are just a few of our shops. You really have to visit us to see what Waco shopping is all about.
7 Stitches was born from a woman on a mission . . . to provide people that have recently undergone surgery, cancer treatments, etc. to have some comfort. In her booth she carries post surgical seatbelt pillows, port pillows and cool companion ice pack pillows to ease discomfort while healing. She has added to her comfort line and now makes wonderful hand sewn items such as water bottle crossbody holders, car trash bags and much more.
Around here, Gayle Bailey is a well known staple for the Craft Gallery. Her unique style of textured paintings as well as the clever ways she uses interesting canvasas set yer apart. Gayle is especially well known for her church paintings of varying sizes and shapes and color as well as her gardian angels. Every piece that she creates is one of a kind and comes complete with a name that was on her heart when she painted it.
Girl Howdy keeps us trendy with the most popular styles in clothing, jewelry and accessories. This fun booth has every color and style of earrings you could hope for as well as themes from game day to holiday and everything in between. While you’re in this booth, try on something new that you are bound to love. Take home a new outfit or two with coordinating accessories. You will be saying, “Girl, Howdy!” when you leave.
Sister Craft Company takes local to a new level. In this booth your will find Waco items for yourself or to take back to your friends after your visit. There are local tshirts, tumblers, hats, mugs and more. Also, take a gander at the unique cutting boards that would make a great gift or charcuterie tray. You will also find regional olive oils as well as personalized tile trivets. There is something for everyone in this booth.
This local pottery booth is ong one of the favorites in the Craft Gallery. Each piece is hand thrown, hand painted, hand stamped and hand fired to be truely one of a kind piece and at an exceptional price. Her hand crafted plant worms are always popular and will make you smile. Find your new coffee mug or a beautiful serving bowl among her large selection. As an added feature, each piece is microwave and dishwasher safe.
Pigs is the theme-Pigs are what it is all about. Pig in a Polk provides some of the most creative pig items. They have stuffed crochet pigs in a variety of sizes and colors as well as key chains, and stress balls. She also has pig themed candles, soap, jewelry, bags, stained glass and so much more all made by hand. Each stuffed pig comes with an adoption form and all proceeds go to support the Pig In a Polk Sanctuary in Lorena.
Need a one of a kind personalized door mat. Crafty Peacock has already designed Coir doormats with seasonal, sports, cleaver and decorative themes. If you have something else you want done for a doormat let Crafty Peacock help you with that. As well as door mats they provide a variety of other gift items to enhance their booth. Earrings, Earrings and More Earrings describes this dynamite duo’s booth. They create all jewelry from polymer clay in all shape, sizes, and designs. They have dangily earrings, wire earrings, stud style earrings, sets of 3 and the list goes on. How about the addition of gold leaf, jewels, and charms as well as a new collection called the Barbie Collection. If you need a bowl to put your earrings in on your counter, they have those, also.
Nana & Papa’s are another booth that have been a stable force in the Craft Gallery. Over the years Gary and Evelyn have handcrafted wooden crosses embelished with metal and barbed wire. If you need a sign to welcome someone into your kitchen or maybe in to you own Nana’s kitchen this is the place to come. They also carry many metal trimmings and nail heads for your own piece you are crafting. They are always willing to help you find what you need.
Miss Scarlet is a booth of a collection of gifts, seasonal items and the unique items. If you need a special piece that pays tribute to your special dog then look no further. They carry sleep pants, boxers, slippers, ornaments and stickers as well as leggings with a cute breed mug shot on them. They also carry a wide selection of Myra Bags and accessories. If you collect Jim Shore, they will have Santa’s of the World for sell during Christmas. This booth has something for everyone.
Wood engraving at it’s finest is what you will find in Juke Box Wood Crafts. They have so many amazing engraved pieces from hearts to military insigna, from earrings to ornaments, with a little seasonal thrown in. If you need something customized they can get it done. This husband and wife duo keep us in stitches with some of their creative pieces as well as in awe of their beautiful work and attention to detail. Come see their booth on Aisle 1 and you will also be amazed and in awe.
Gretchen is one of our many pickers and trade day shoppers. She finds the most creative pieces from old games and children’s metal construction trucks, to bricks, old cigar boxes, snuff bottles and so much more. Her attention to detail and her eye for the unusual always amazes us. She loves to bring in old regional cookbooks and throws in a few architectural pieces as well. Need an old chain link fence gate, she has it. Need an old paddle butter churn, she has it, also.
Twister Sisters has expanded their booth just recently to add new clothing items from tops, tshirts, children’s clothing, jeans, and a few knick knacks as well. Their top brand is Southern Stitch and they carry sizes from small to plus sizes. They always bring in seasonal tops for every occassion. They also are carrying hand crafted seasonal items along with sets of cute decoupage napkins for your crafting needs.
There is so much to say about this ever changing booths of the cutest paper, wood, floral and seasonal items you can’t pass up. Every items is hand crafted by the most creative person with every detail attended to on every piece. Seasonal is the flavor of the month and cute is the topping. They carry beadboard initial letter hangings, shelf sitters, signs, risers, and so much more. Pictures can help capture a small portion of the cuteness but in person is best.
Who has car freshies? Barb has car freshies. From flowers, crosses, boots, hearts,, professions and cacti to strawberry leather, monkey farts, leather, and creame brulee – it’s here. There are 3 walls of so many scents, shapes and sizes you are bound to find one just for you. The problem is that you may need a little extra time to find it but it is there. With a purchase you are supporting an Autism family member.
Roy & Nancy Designs is another of our woodworking vendors in the store. Roy has created so many creative lazered pieces from signs, hair clips, vent clips for essential oils for your car, pop sockets, earrings and ornaments. He recently sent a local celebrity on a treasure hunt through Waco Craft Stores for pieces he made especially for this person. If you have a picture or design you want done, they can do it.
Hawkin’s Creek Unique is just that, UNIQUE! They have wreaths for the seasons, cute denim purses for all ages, and collectables such as Precious Moments. On top of that they bring in seasonal figurines, plates and pottery as well as handcrafted polymer clay figurines. As an added bonus if you like Tupperware, but not only Tupperware but vintage Tupperware than you will find a piece that may take you back to grandma’s house.
Craftily Every After is a new booth on Aisle 1 with wreaths, tumblers, home decor, and many other items. With an eye for colors and the festive side of seasonal Craftily Ever After can either customize you a wreath or even make matching ones if you need two. Let Craftily adorn you door for the seasons and your door will be the talk of the neighborhood. Her tumblers are awesome and she also make Waco keychains and lip balm key chains.
